Committee approves resolution to increase crushing limit at 7 Sisters Quarry

Pat told the committee that the larger number creates room for expected seasonal demand but does not mean the company will sell the full 250,000 tons: "they know they're going to exceed a hundred thousand ton, within the season, and this is just providing, a buffer and additional room for continued sales out of the quarry," Pat said.
Committee member Scott asked whether members of the public can purchase material directly from the quarry; Pat confirmed the quarry is open to public sales, including contractors, farmers and private individuals. No other technical concerns were raised during committee discussion.
A motion to approve the agreement/resolution to extend crushing limits at 7 Sisters Quarry was made and seconded (second recorded as Larry). The committee voted in favor and the motion carried.
The committee did not attach specific sale-conditions or changes to permitting in the discussion record; the resolution as presented increases the permitted tonnage ceiling for the year.
