Sheriff outlines traffic control plan for Bighorn Mountain Soccer Cup May 10–11

Dominguez said past practice has been to close a northbound approach at the 90-degree Bird Farm corner and Gallatin Drive entrance between about 6:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on event days to create two lanes for inbound traffic, and to station deputies for traffic control. He said deputies also hand-deliver notices to affected residents in advance and that the county will coordinate a media release on the closures through public works or the commissioners’ office.
Commissioners indicated no formal motion was required and agreed to proceed by consent; no formal vote or ordinance was recorded.
