Singh also said Goodyear youth delegates attended the National League of Cities events in Washington, D.C., and met with U.S. and Arizona elected officials; they participated in volunteer programs including Make a Difference Day and neighborhood beautification projects. Committee members praised the youth commission’s work and encouraged continued engagement, noting the value of youth leadership and civic participation.
Committee leaders acknowledged the students in the gallery and said they appreciated the commissioners’ statewide participation; the committee then returned to executive business.
