The administration proposed converting a scheduled half‑day on June 5 (K–5 class placements) into a full professional day for K–5 so teachers would receive initial I‑Ready training; the schedule change depends on state‑aid and minutes calculations and final approval by the superintendent and business office.
On enrollment, administrators reminded the public that pre‑K registration “closes” the end of the following day; at the time of the report the district had 28 registrants at A.W. Becker and 32 in the Peter B. catchment and said families who register after the cutoff will be placed on a waiting list. Screening dates for incoming students will be scheduled after confirmed lists are finalized.
