The board awarded the 2024 pavement rehabilitation construction contract (bid no. 24‑39) to Argonaut Constructors Inc. and authorized the chair to execute the contract in the amount of $5,113,696.75. Department of Public Works Director Glenn March told supervisors the project covers about 16 miles of roadway in the Cobb Mountain area and that construction would begin in four to six weeks if the contract is executed.
