Pasco board declares April 6–12, 2025 National Crime Victims'Rights Week

The board clerk read the resolution into the record, noting themes of survivor dignity, trauma-informed services and the 2025 national theme of kinship. Tracy Toner, Pasco County misdemeanor probation manager, addressed the board after passage and described misdemeanor probation’s role in collecting restitution, enforcing court-ordered no-contact provisions and case-managing offenders to prioritize victim safety. Toner said those services aim to help victims “regain financial loss” and find “assistance, support, justice, and peace.”
The board and attendees offered remarks of thanks to victim-services staff and stressed the importance of community support for survivors.
