The biggest single vote was an ordinance to revise a district map (article 17, section 50-17-41) affecting a parcel commonly described as 6181 Caswell (filed as line item 18.1). Council President Pro Tem James Tate moved the ordinance to third reading and passage; the clerk recorded a roll call that produced nine yeas and the ordinance was adopted. The council also approved a group of contract renewals, service agreements and grant-funded awards across departments, many by unanimous consent (“hearing no objections”).
