North Penn board gives final approval to 2025-28 comprehensive plan, asks for periodic progress reports

Board members also sought clarification about language that appeared in the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) comprehensive planning portal. One board member pointed to a phrasing on page 15 that, in the portal's export, reads as a double negative (for example, "this student group is not a focus: False"); the administration explained the portal's interface can render certain exported statements unclearly and confirmed the district intends those listed student groups (including English learners) to be in-scope for plan actions.
