The property owner, identified in earlier meetings as Stephanie Bogart, originally received a 90-day variance on Jan. 14, 2025 that was scheduled to end April 15, 2025. County staff reported on April 8 that the site has been graded and that the manufactured home still requires utility connections, HVAC installation, construction of porches and decks, and other finishing work before a certificate of occupancy can be issued.
County staff told the commission they see progress on the site but that delivery and installation of the home have been slower than expected. No specific delivery date was provided. The board approved the requested extension by voice vote; meeting minutes record the motion as carried but do not identify the motion mover or a roll-call tally.
The extension does not change permit conditions for occupancy: the residence must meet usual permitting and inspection requirements and receive a certificate of occupancy before the occupants may move in. The board’s action was limited to granting additional time for completion and did not modify technical permit requirements.
The applicant’s variance request and the board’s extension will remain on record with county permitting staff; any further extensions or conditions were not discussed at the April 8 meeting.
