The resolution authorizing notices of nonrenewal to probationary teachers (agenda item 4.3) was moved by Slager and seconded by Sue and passed on a roll call with recorded "yes" votes for Gonzales Thomas, Arlando, Meadows, Slager, Mathis and (Lot). The board then voted to move into closed session, citing the Illinois Open Meetings Act for the purposes of sections 2(c)(1) and 2(c)(2).
No public comments were submitted prior to the meeting, and the meeting proceeded directly to the listed personnel actions.
