The board voted to set a public hearing for April 21 on an ordinance to amend the Dyersburg Municipal Zoning Map by rezoning a portion of property at 1335 East Court from M2 (medium industrial) to B2 (general trade and services). The Planning Commission previously considered the request and recommended approval, the board was told. Dennis Moody moved to approve the notice of public hearing and James Baltimore seconded; the motion carried by voice vote.
The board also adopted Resolution 04072025, which the Mayor described as “a resolution to adopt a technical report for the Dyersburg major road plan.” Julie Harrison moved to approve the resolution; James Baltimore seconded and the motion carried by voice vote.
Separately the board approved the minutes from its March 17 meeting. A motion to approve the minutes was made by Coach Kohl's and seconded by Rick Crawford; the motion carried by voice vote.
