Forsyth County School Board approves work-session agenda, later enters executive session for personnel; plans growth-resolution discussion

Forsyth County School Board members opened their April 8 work session by approving the meeting agenda and later voted to go into executive session to discuss personnel matters. During the meeting a board member announced plans to add a resolution on growth and high-density development to the agenda for an upcoming work session; a motion and second were recorded but the transcript does not include a final vote on that addition.

The agenda was approved early in the session after a motion by Mrs. Hoyes and a second by Mr. Usherwood; the board chair called for a vote and the approval was unanimous. Later, a motion to enter executive session for personnel matters was made, moved by Mr. Usherwood and seconded by Mrs. Hoyes; that motion also passed unanimously.
