The City of Minneapolis Climate and Infrastructure Committee on March 6 amended its consent agenda to add adoption of findings and recommendation of denial for a stormwater charge credit application submitted by Lakewood Cemetery Association. The committee then approved consent agenda items 3 through 8, including the added item.
The approved consent items, as presented by committee staff, included: a cooperative agreement with the Metropolitan Council for cost participation in the Highway 55 bus rapid transit study; authorization to submit a grant application to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources for the Local Trails Connections program; authorization to submit a grant application to the Minnesota Department of Commerce for a geothermal planning grant; a legislative directive requesting information and data about the ongoing process of Nicollet Mall pedestrianization; and a public hearing set for March 20 to consider ordinances related to water service and terminology revisions.
Chair Katie Cashman moved to add the Lakewood Cemetery item to the consent agenda; the motion carried after a voice vote. The committee then approved the consent items by voice vote; the transcript records the motions carried but individual roll-call tallies were not specified.
