Oklahoma County approves ARPA grants, cooperative agreements and Public Building Authority $14.47 million guaranteed maximum price

The Oklahoma County Board of County Commissioners on April 8, 2025 approved a range of consent, contract and grant actions including ARPA awards, cooperative agreements with neighboring jurisdictions and contractors, and a Public Building Authority action setting a guaranteed maximum price for a contractor rebuilding county facilities.

Key actions approved by voice vote included receipt of a new poster and presentation from the Oklahoma City Arts Council, a $100,000 ARPA subrecipient award for the Friends of the Oklahoma History Center’s “Beacon of Vision” project honoring Wiley Post, and multiple annual mutual cooperative agreements with Canadian County, Logan County, the cities of Edmond and Biedmont, and several municipal and school districts for road and bridge improvement and repair work.

County staff presented and the board approved an interlocal cooperative agreement with the City of Edmond for mowing services and a right-of-access agreement with Edmond to remove tree debris at a listed northwest-corner property.
