Staff said the district will wait until sealcoating this summer is complete and will retain the stencils for reapplication after any future pavement work.
2) Interim field‑trip funding for 2025–26: Because the PTO will discontinue its prior practice of underwriting elementary field trips, the board approved using Wheelwright Trust funds to cover the gap for the 2025–26 year — a request totaling $10,000 split $5,000 per school.
3) Cafeteria audio overage: The board approved using Wheelwright Trust funds to cover a $679.99 overage for newly installed cafeteria audio equipment (the original approved amount was $12,421.93; final invoices produced the small overage for additional items such as a vented door).
Committee members noted that applicants will be asked to provide final accounting and that the Wheelwright Trust committee will refine application guidance to minimize future overages and to clarify expense tracking for projects.
The board voted to approve the three items in a single motion.
