On April 8, 2025 the Haralson County Planning Board recommended that the Board of Commissioners approve a rezoning of 1.468 acres at 4363 Clio Kildare Road (Map 309, Parcel 6) from AR‑1 to AR‑2 to bring a portion of the lot into zoning conformity.
Chelsea, Development Services planner, explained that the applicant is adding a small adjoining piece to an existing nonconforming AR‑1 lot; because the combined acreage remains under five acres, the entire parcel must be rezoned to AR‑2 to conform with the zoning code. Applicant Duane (Dwayne) Reagan said the change corrects an old property line issue that left a fence and pool partly on the neighboring parcel and that the action will square up the backyard for family use. There was no public opposition. The board voted to recommend approval; staff noted the action is administrative and will proceed to the Haralson County Board of Commissioners for final action in May.
