San Fernando names Flora Sanchez to Parks, Wellness and Recreation Commission

Councilmember Joe Fajardo said, “Welcome. Congratulations. And I look forward to working with you.” Councilmember Victoria Garcia and Councilmember Patty Lopez also extended congratulations; Vice Mayor Mary Salorio and Mayor Mary Mendoza joined the vote to approve the appointment.
Sanchez told the council she was “incredibly honored and grateful” for the appointment and said she looked forward to protecting and improving parks and recreational services.
The appointment passed on a voice/roll-call vote with all members present voting in favor.
