Council Member Stevens introduced the ordinance to “proceed with the improvement of certain streets ... by lighting the same with electricity,” the second step in the 2026 street-lighting program, and moved its adoption. Council Member Jackson seconded the motion. Clerk Lori Stasil called the roll; Mayor William D. Duncan, Vice Mayor Byington, Council Member Stevens, Council Member Turban and Council Member Jackson all voted yes.
