The Verona Planning Commission on April 7 recommended that the Common Council approve a certified survey map that shifts the lot line between two lots in Liberty Business Park to provide space for building placement and a required drainage swale.
City staff explained that a previously approved CSM required a post-approval adjustment because the lot line needed to be moved north to accommodate the building placement and stormwater management. The revised CSM adjusts the boundary to create more separation between the proposed building and the lot line so a drainage swale can be sited there; future phases could see the Wisconsin Brewery expand into the adjusted lot but any such expansion was described as a future possibility, not a commitment.
Commissioner Powers moved to recommend the Common Council approve the CSM to modify Lot 1 (3.4 acres) and Lot 2 (1.7 acres) in Verona Technology Park (Liberty Business Park); Commissioner Hankard seconded and the commission approved the motion by voice vote.
Staff recommended approval in the staff report (page 4).
