The commission voted to approve Zoe's on the Green’s seasonal all-alcohol license and the PACC pavilion renewal after staff reported inspections and paperwork status. The Lithuanian Club’s submission remains pending with the ABCC (state alcohol commission) because staff identified one out-of-date document; the acting manager submitted an updated unemployment-insurance certification and the commission will follow up once ABCC confirms receipt.
Commission staff reported that the Four Seasons Chinese Cuisine on-premises all-alcohol license had already been approved by the ABCC on March 4, 2025. The Gardner Lodge (Elks) change-of-manager application was returned with no action on March 12 for missing or incorrect documents; the lodge is preparing corrections for resubmission.
Separately, a petitioner requested that the city seek an additional off-premises liquor license from the state to allow a package store at 326384 Tiffany Boulevard (the former Shawn’s Place). The commission chair said that request had been forwarded to the mayor and the city solicitor and suggested the matter be taken up by the city council and mayor’s office.
Staff announced that clerk Megan Boudreaux resigned from the licensing commission clerk position and the commission welcomed Brandy Cashman (listed in the meeting as the new clerk contact) as the incoming clerk; staff said they will assist the new clerk in preparing documents for future meetings.
Votes at a glance: the commission recorded motions as carried for approval of the Feb. 18, 2025 minutes; transfer of the Sawa liquor license to K Wong LLC; seasonal renewals for Zoe's and the PACC pavilion; and the two Fitness Concepts one-day licenses.
