The Planning, Development and Zoning Commission of Manvel approved a partial replat on March 10 that combines six single-family residential lots into four lots in Meridian Section 32 and removes specified utility easements.
City staff summarized the request for a 0.5037-acre tract (Oliver Hall Survey A203) and noted the proposed lots exceed minimum width and area requirements for the townhome-residential designation, with minimum widths of 40 feet and lot areas of at least 4,900 square feet for the proposed lots. “City staff recommends approval of this partial replat,” staff said during the public hearing. No members of the public spoke for or against the replat.
At the regular agenda, a commissioner moved to approve the replat; the motion carried 7-0. The commission recorded the vote as unanimous and the item will be forwarded to city council as appropriate for recording with Brazoria County plat records.
