I know many of you submitted some questions," the board chair said. The chair later clarified, "April 14 is the closing date on that and then we will the committee will see, applicants at that time."
Member Lear said she appreciated the updates and asked for continued communication about the process, including notices when the committee meets and basic information such as the number of applicants. "I just wanted to, say I appreciate the updates you've given us on the superintendent search and would appreciate a continued, process like that where we're informed ... and how many applicants there are," Lear said.
No formal action or vote on the search was recorded during the exchange. The chair and members described the committee as continuing to meet to review materials submitted by applicants.
