Richmond council adopts 15 mph limit for Wood River Circle

Richmond Town Council voted to amend the Richmond Code of Ordinances to add Wood River Circle to Valley Lodge Estates with a posted speed limit not to exceed 15 miles per hour following a brief public hearing.

Council President opened the hearing after Chief Johnson explained the proposal, saying Wood River Circle was the only road in that neighborhood without a posted speed limit. No members of the public spoke in opposition during the hearing; one resident, Ellen Gee, reminded speakers to use the microphone for the record.
