Council to consider Todd Autry nomination for Industrial Development Board seat

Councilman Michael introduced Todd Autry at the Lewisburg work session as a nominee to fill the Industrial Development Board seat vacated by Ronald Robinson; the term ends June 1, 2029.
Councilman Michael summarized Autry's local business experience, saying Autry moved to Lewisburg in 1996 and now runs Lewisburg Industrial and Welding. "He has worked on a daily basis with our industrial managers and the business people," Michael said. Autry spoke briefly from the podium and said, "I'm here for any questions that you might have. Appreciate the opportunity to be for the seat on the IDB board."
Council members had no questions at the work session and said the nomination will be placed on the regular council meeting agenda for a formal vote next Tuesday.
No formal appointment was made at the work session.
