Dina said the Children’s Beach Sunday concert series will return this summer with seven concerts scheduled and three rain dates, running from June 13 through Aug. 14. She described regular children’s programming — “Mondays with Mark,” a family-trivia pilot in July with potential to expand, daily yoga sessions and puppet programming — and added a new capoeira offering. Dina said the cultural council grant cycle has completed and staff were awaiting signed contracts from recipients.
On special-event permitting, Dina reported that the office had received 43 applications to date and completed 17 through the full permitting process; those 17 produced $1,325 in permit revenue. She described the application workflow: initial review by her office, a checklist and document return, a second review (sometimes with public safety), and then invoicing and permit issuance.…
