Commission hears update on PFAS/PFOS investigation; groundwater contour map delayed to May meeting

In her summary Woods said, “We received a notice of audit findings, and that's something that we are working internally with our team to develop the best course of action moving forward.”
Manager Smith and commissioners discussed the noise monitoring software, deployment and who has access to daily files; Smith said the software produces a daily file analyzing noise data but currently does not provide real‑time usable data and staff would pursue training and options to make it more broadly accessible.
Commissioners agreed to continue updates at future meetings as the Phase 3 investigation proceeds and as staff respond to the audit findings.
