Auditor reports April tax-sale: 376 parcels sold, 255 return to September sale

Jones said the auditor's office listed 646 parcels initially and offered 631 at the sale. Of the 631 parcels offered, 376 sold and 255 will be reoffered at the next tax sale scheduled for Sept. 16–18. The minimum bid for each parcel was $250. Jones told the council there were 97 registered bidders and the auditor’s office collected $445,400 during the sale; bidders had until noon April 2 to pay and all bidders met the deadline.
