Thrive West Central schedules regional housing summit Sept. for seven-county area; Vigo County invited

Patrice Dayton introduced herself as the new representative for Thrive West Central and said part of her role is to work with local government entities across the seven counties the nonprofit covers.
Dayton said Vigo County already partners with Thrive West Central on the Homes for the Future project and invited county officials to a 2025 regional housing summit that will bring lenders, builders, realtors, developers and community leaders together. She said the summit will be held in September at the Terre Haute Convention Center and that she provided save-the-date notices to commissioners.
Dayton offered her business card and asked officials to contact her if they need assistance coordinating with Thrive West Central. Commissioners welcomed her and congratulated her on the new role.
Ending: Dayton said she looks forward to working with county officials on housing initiatives across the seven-county region.
