Talbot County proclaims Talbot Day and celebrates graduates of Talbot Works Business Academy

Graduates including Jen Wagner and Nolan Laguna spoke about program benefits, including mentorship, legal and accounting guidance and business expansion. Vanhoozer reported preliminary program outcomes: participants from past cohorts had hired employees, opened additional locations and launched secondary businesses; Vanhoozer said the county would provide a fuller report to the council in the future.
Council members praised the staff organizing Talbot Day and the business-academy graduates for their entrepreneurship.
