The Iowa Senate on April 8 approved multiple bills on a range of topics and recorded roll-call tallies before adjourning. Lawmakers passed a technical nursing-facility enforcement bill (House File 309) after floor debate and also approved measures on electronic-crimes venue, family-interaction standards in child welfare proceedings, code corrections, accounting licensure, expanded assault protections for health care workers and a prohibition on fuel-based equipment restrictions.
