Commissioners appoint two members to county canvassing board for 2025 elections

Crow Wing County commissioners on April 8 appointed Commissioner Lee and Commissioner Barrows to the 2025 Crow Wing County Board of Canvass, which will meet to canvass primary and general election results and to serve for any special elections in 2025.
Elections staff noted the primary canvass is scheduled for Wednesday, April 16 at 11:00 a.m. and the general-election canvass for Wednesday, April 30 at 11:00 a.m. The appointments were made by motion (Mover: Commissioner Lubcke; Second: Commissioner Coring) and approved by roll-call vote.
The elections official also said absentee ballots for the primary begin the day after the meeting and that public testing of election systems is scheduled ahead of each election.
