Commissioners asked about backups and redundancy; Harvey confirmed cloud redundancies and said Tyler operates data centers in multiple regions and can fail over if needed.
The board moved, seconded and approved the contract. Commissioners noted the expense but accepted staff’s recommendation that the cloud migration will enable future enhancements and reduce long‑term maintenance complexity.
