Needham board approves four abatements, denies six and allows several tax deferrals

Dave Davidson, a staff member for the Town of Needham, told the board after executive session that the panel voted to approve abatements for 1498 Highland Avenue, 43 Glendoon Road, 588 Central Avenue and 132 Forest Street and to deny abatement requests for 170 Oxbow Road, 95 Mary Chilton, 33 Blacksmith, 84 South Street, 64 High Rock Street and 58 William.
The announcement came during the board's post-executive-session business. The board also revisited the application for 32 Scott Street, decided it was awaiting additional information and took no action on that file. Separately, the board approved several tax deferral applications; Davidson said all deferrals were repeat requests and listed the addresses included in the package.
