Planning staff member Mr. Rizzatella said builders are beginning to pull permits for the Mill Creek phase in the Villages of Garrison Creek and that two of five Tad Sherman apartment buildings are nearly ready for occupancy. "Two of the five buildings are almost ready for occupancy, so they'll come online soon," he said.
Staff also said the final reports for the Lakeside development are still pending with the developer and noted that the city has shared the Martin Field study with Terragon, a developer that has discussed hangars adjacent to the runway, industrial uses along Whitman Drive and residential parcels south of the airfield. Rizzatella said Terragon has shown interest in pursuing investment adjacent to the airfield and in coordinating development moves in subsequent years.
