Robinson said the changes reflect updates to Uniform Grant Guidance (UGG), the Education Department General Administrative Regulations (EDGAR) and federal Title IX-related policy language; she told the board the district is “all up to date” with those changes and asked the board to adopt them.
The board approved the consent agenda, which the superintendent listed as items including approval of minutes from the Jan. 27 meeting, an employment summary, supplementary contracts, issuance of 25 regular teacher contracts for eligible teachers and issuance of preliminary nonrenewal notices for teachers. The items were moved, seconded and approved on the voice vote recorded in the meeting minutes.
On a separate action, the board approved an $11,130 agreement to bring a consultant on-site for a four‑day process to consolidate and document administrative guidelines that correspond to board policy. The vendor will inventory and organize existing administrative documents into a single, searchable set of guidelines; the superintendent said the work is intended to make administrative governance easier to access and use.
Before adjourning the public session, the board moved to convene an executive session “pursuant to Wisconsin statute” to discuss a student disciplinary expulsion order. The motion passed on a roll call in which all recorded members voted yes: Coller, Kaiser, Gil, Burns, Carr, Sikich, Lee, Becker and President Lee (each recorded as “Yes” on the roll call). The board recessed to executive session.
