Mayor Mary Sladek and the Oviedo City Council on Monday adopted a memorandum of understanding with the Seminole County Tax Collector to place an interactive kiosk in the city annex lobby that will allow residents to renew vehicle tags and other tax-collector services on-site.
The agreement, adopted as Resolution No. 4594-25, requires only that the city provide space, a dedicated electrical outlet and an Internet connection. The tax collector’s office and its subcontractor will operate and maintain the kiosk; no money will change hands between the county and the city under the MOU.
