Londonderry board hires Telephone Network Technologies for district phone overhaul — $331,936.65

The Londonderry School Board approved a $331,936.65 contract with Telephone Network Technologies (TNT) on Feb. 18 to replace the district's aging analog phone system and install new Cat‑6 cabling in six schools.
Brandon, district technology staff, told the board that in April 2024 the district learned the current NEC analog phone system would no longer be supported. "Around April of 2024, we were notified that our current phone system was no longer gonna be supported," he said.
The district issued a request for proposals in October and received five bids; two were incomplete and two vendors were invited for interviews and building tours. Based on reference checks, product fit and vendor meetings, staff recommended TNT as the best vendor. The district said cabling work must start during school vacation weeks to minimize classroom disruptions and that the project timeline aims for completion by the start of the next school year.
Board members thanked staff for added procurement details and vendor reference checks requested after the previous meeting. The motion to hire TNT for $331,936.65 was moved by Sarah Loughton, seconded by Kevin Gray and approved 5‑0.
The board opened and closed a public hearing on the proposal before voting; administrators said they will direct the vendor to schedule most cabling during vacation weeks to reduce interruptions. The contract award will enable replacement of unsupported equipment and network wiring needed for a modern phone system.
