The board said Kenny, Don and staff have been involved in initial conversations; David could not attend a recent meeting because of illness, and staff will meet this week to develop a more complete scope of work and cost estimate.
The chair noted the joint board will place an assessment on the project and that the county will coordinate with the joint board on scope and assessments. No date for a joint board hearing or assessment was provided at the April 7 meeting.
Next steps: County staff will finalize a scope of work, estimate costs, and present those materials to the joint drainage board for assessment and further action.
