Chair Sue Giordano said the policies under consideration had not changed since being previously reviewed and presented the documents for adoption. A motion to adopt the draft policies (identified in the meeting as draft policy ACAC and related AC‑series drafts) passed by voice vote.
The board also voted to withdraw policy AC‑B (recorded in the meeting as a motion to withdraw). That motion passed by voice vote.
A request from the Parent‑Teacher Group and Bedford Friends of Recreation (referred to in the meeting as BFOR/Bedford Friends of Recreation) asked permission to raffle a reserved parking spot for next year, consistent with the district’s fundraiser policy. The board approved the parking‑spot raffle request.
Separately, the board moved to accept the draft minutes of March 24; that motion was approved.
