Commissioner Winter made the motion to award the contract to Camco Inc.; Commissioner Casper seconded. The board conducted a roll-call vote: Commissioner Casper — aye; Commissioner Winter — aye; Commissioner Moran — aye; Commissioner Lemire — aye; Commissioner Blaine — aye. The motion carried.
Hennen said striping work focuses on scheduled thirds of the county and on higher-traffic areas where paint has faded. He noted the county sometimes partners with townships on other maintenance projects but does not include townships in the striping contract because of scale and differing standards.
