Board approves Planning Commission recommendation for conditional-use permit for storage facility with conditions

Krista Krupa, Environmental Specialist with Planning and Zoning, presented a Planning Commission recommendation March 10 and asked the board March 18 to approve a conditional-use permit for a storage rental facility proposed by Ross Amfinson.
Krupa said the Planning Commission supported the permit with findings and three conditions included in the draft minutes and described the site location near County Road 8 and Green Lake and access from Old Arnie Road (also referred to in materials). A black-and-white site map was included in the board packet and Krupa reviewed setbacks and relationship to nearby pole buildings.
There was a motion to accept the Planning Commission's findings and conditions, a second and discussion; the board approved the recommendation.
The motion recorded acceptance of the Planning Commission's conditions; the permit will proceed under the conditions approved by the board.
