Legislative Services staff presented corrective language to the Department of Health and Welfare bill to add standard federal funding restrictions; the committee accepted the language by unanimous consent.
Alex Williamson, budget and policy analyst with Legislative Services, said the language is the standard federal funding restrictions provision that the office includes in Department of Health and Welfare bills and that it had been omitted from the packet distributed on Tuesday. "There's no change to what was included in the original bill," Williamson said; the language merely corrects the omission in the packet.
Representative Price requested unanimous consent to accept the language. With no objections, the committee accepted the language and the corrected language will be carried with the bill as it moves forward.
