The West Bend City Plan Commission approved a series of development items at its meeting, including a conditional use permit for grading at 261 South Main Street and multiple certified survey maps and site plans tied to a WEC Energy service center, a gym addition at Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church, facade repairs at Big Brothers Big Sisters, and a 97‑lot preliminary plat for a subdivision by Newman Development Inc.

The conditional use permit sought by Tommy Zernia Access LLC would allow grading and other site improvements within the FFO (Flood Fringe Overlay) district at 261 South Main Street. Jim (staff member) told the commission that the engineering firm retained by the applicant confirmed “there’s 0 impact to the flood fringe area,” and staff recommended issuing the permit. The commission considered two related certified survey maps (CSMs) and an associated site plan for a new WEC Energy Group service center at the northwest corner of Trenton Road and Wingate Street.
