One member asked that the item be postponed until the building committee and facilities staff could provide a clearer specification of the electrical source, conduit routing and the anticipated construction method (overhead vs. underground) so bidders could make apples-to-apples proposals. Another member expressed concern about drawing further funds from the capital-improvement account.
A motion to table the RFP until the next meeting carried unanimously. Administration was asked to supply detailed plans, a clearer scope and a cost breakdown before the RFP is reissued.
