Committee hears proposal to let A+ funds pay for additional career-technical training; business and education groups support bill

Cade Tremaine of the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry said the proposal would strengthen the state's workforce by expanding access to established training programs. Otto Phagen of Missouri NEA also testified in support, noting the bill had been brought previously and again this year and that many students are enthusiastic about the change.
