Several student bowlers gave their season high games; one student said their high game was a 260‑plus.

The board also received a personnel announcement: Superintendent Fillion introduced Gina Hoppe as the district’s selected principal for Eagle Valley Middle School. Hoppe said she is "honored to accept this position" and thanked current and former colleagues and mentors.
Fillion described a two-day residency by the Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz that brought top high-school jazz musicians and guest artists to perform and do presentations for district students across middle and high school classrooms. "It was far beyond anything I expected ... the kids were so into it," Fillion said, noting performers included nationally recognized artists and that students responded enthusiastically.
The superintendent also reported on reading-week activities in elementary schools. He and trustees recounted reading visits to classrooms and schoolwide events; trustees highlighted creative approaches such as a masked-reader program and other school-based celebrations designed to boost engagement.
