She described the tea room as “an experience,” saying, “So each reservation is for 2 hours and you get a tea tower. We just encourage you to slow down and to enjoy those 2 hours.” Gibson said she opened the venue to offer something new locally: “And, we don't have anything like that around in Keller. I wanted to bring something new to the equation.”
Gibson also said the business includes a cafe component, which was the original concept, and that the tea-room service is intended to provide a lighthearted, restorative experience for guests who need a break from a difficult day.
