Commission approves purchase of one transport SUV; vendor Whiteside recommended

"If the commission sees fit, we'd like for you to approve the 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe from Whiteside," the procurement presenter said. The county had advertised the purchase of two SUVs but recommended buying one because combined purchase-plus-outfitting costs would exceed the current budget; staff said the county will use the new vehicle heavily for long trips and retain an existing vehicle for shorter runs.
