Bethlehem resident thanks county for Lehigh University polling location

During the public-comment portion of the April 3 meeting, Jack Ciavilella, a Bethlehem resident, thanked Northampton County and specific county staff for coordinating with Lehigh University to provide an on-campus polling location.
Ciavilella said he appreciated the county’s work and called the approach a model for other jurisdictions. He said he hopes the polling location now at Vine Street Church becomes permanent and that responsibility for maintaining it be shared between the school and the county.
No council action was taken in response to the comment; the remark was entered as part of courtesy of the floor.
