The Muscatine City Council on April 3 approved the first reading of an ordinance to allow the sale and consumption of beer, wine and champagne at the Musco Sports Center and heard a detailed presentation about how alcohol service would be managed in the new sports dome.
The proposal, introduced as an amendment to Title 3, Chapter 5, Section 10 of the city code, would add the Musco Sports Center to other city facilities where limited alcohol service is allowed by permit.
